One of the first homes to be built in Akumal, this massive villa is the perfect choice for large groups and families. With over 4000 sq ft Azul Riviera is perfect if you are planning a photo shoot, family reunion, seminar or just have a large group. Not only is Azul Riviera is one of the largest villas in Akumal, but it can be rented in combination with Casa del Sol next door to increase the capacity. These are the best locations if you want to snorkel in Yalku Lagoon since you can jump right in from the back yard.
Outside you will find yourself transported to a Caribbean fantasy. The HUGE yard boasts of lush tropics surrounding the fountain on the sun deck, two palapas and the pool with its own private beach area. The palapa off of the kitchen is over 1200 ft and is fully equipped for entertaining guests for dinner with a gas BBQ, a wet bar, and ample seating. The 12 x 30 pool is between the large palapa and the private cenote next to the Yalku Lagoon where the other palapa is located.
Azul Rivera offers four large air conditioned bedrooms and three bathrooms. Up a spiral staircase you will find the master bedroom which has a king size bed and an enormous private sun deck with fabulous views of the Yalku Lagoon. There is a tower with an exhilarating 360-degree view of the lagoon, jungle and Caribbean that has a day bed and is perfect for a peaceful morning cup of coffee, or a romantic evening nightcap. Downstairs you will find the full amenities kitchen and a powerful great room which is both a dining area with seating for 17-20 people and a living area equipped with all the gadgetry. With a spectacular mural created by a local artist adorns the wall accentuating the cathedral ceiling. The other two bedrooms are off of the great room and have these great lofts in them that the bigger kids love climbing the ladders to access their own private fort! One bedroom has a king size bed and a twin on the ground floor and twins in the loft, the other has two double beds on the ground floor and twins in the loft. The other bedroom has a twin bunk bed perfect for the younger kids.
There is maid service 6 days a week and you can special request meals to be prepared. Catering can be provided for special events.
